It’s finally time to go home. To end a blurry haze of a year that has flown by without respite and transition back to American life.

For many on this list, the end of summer signals about the one year mark since starting a first job after graduation. Others, the start of a new job or placement within a month. I am on to San Francisco to start work in August as a business consultant at Applied Predictive Technologies. It may be far cry from teaching high schoolers, but it will be a challenge nonetheless.

Writing is an activity I hope to continue with consistency. As Daniele Bolelli put it, “Attaining wisdom is like sweeping the floor. Once is not enough.” One year’s worth of writing may have produced a manuscript’s length worth of material, but much of it more foolish than wise. At the moment, I plan on sending out biweekly or monthly book reviews and recommendations to subscribers who opt-in. Other suggestions for the direction of this list are greatly welcomed as well.

As mentioned above, please leave your personal feedback. I’d love to hear your voice, especially if it’s critical! The only way to improve is to be told where improvement is needed.

I’ll end with a quote I picked up from Cheryl Strayed’s advice column: “In your twenties you’re becoming who you’re going to be and so you might as well not be an asshole.” Here’s to one more early 20’s year passing, and another year of growth to come.
